It works by relaxing the muscles in the bladder neck and prostate, making it easier to urinate.
By easing the pressure on the urethra, it helps reduce that "sudden urge" to go that can be disruptive during the day.
It helps the bladder empty more completely, which reduces the "dribbling" experienced after finishing urination.
