It prevents the ovaries from releasing an egg.
It thickens the cervical mucus, making it difficult for sperm to enter the uterus.
Endometrial Alteration: It changes the lining of the uterus to make it unsuitable for an egg to implant.
The 7 brown pills contain iron to help prevent anemia during the withdrawal bleed (your "period").
Dosage
Take the first yellow pill on the first day of your period.
Take one pill every day at the same time until the pack is finished.
Use all 21 yellow pills first, followed by the 7 brown pills.
